Weekend LU trainboard PA notes engineering
In the recent past, I have complained when trainboard PA advertises
interchanges that do not exist - mainly due to engineering closures.
While travelling this weekend, 2 District trains reported absence of
Jubilee and Victoria lines at Westminster and Victoria, a southbound
Northern line train reported the Jubilee missing at Moorgate and a
Circle line reported the Victoria outage at Kings Cross St. Pancras.
In each case, the driver made a PA and suppressed the automatic system.

Normal service was restored on a Metropolitan train from Uxbridge which
said nothing about Chiltern interchange at Harrow on the Hill or about
the lack of the Victoria at KXSP. It was notably silent too about 3
several minute platform waits between Eastcote and HOTH.

Oh well, 4 out of 5 is not bad. ;)

Did it also report the Picadilly, Bakerloo, Central, etc. missing at
Moorgate too? Or was the Jubilbe singled out for this special
attention?

The one that makes me laugh is when you pull into South Kensington at
2200 and she tells you to change for the Museums!

It reported there was no Jubilee service between Stratford and Green
Park. I took it that this was to allow passengers to select alternative
routes. Such a suggestion would probably be inappropriate at Bank given
the fiction of missing interchanges there. I went back to street level
and took a 76 bus to Waterloo.

It's not actually an order, just a fact. Anyway, you'll be first in the
queue tomorrow morning!

Should that not be classified as "Planned Closure" as is reported for
the Waterloo & City line on Sundays and until 06.15 on weekday mornings?
