I take it that you are looking at Celtic Link. Your request is a
really long shot, as it is primarily a freight carrier, and they might
take about 20 cars per crossing. I think you should explore other
options.

If you're talking about Irish Ferries, I thought they did, they used to.
In any case extra passengers would usually be booked with the crossing
(you have to pay per person, it's not a 'car and all passengers' type
deal on that route), but maybe you could be added afterwards? Then
there's Rosslare to Roscoff but I haven't checked and I don't think they
sail that route at this time of year?? Hang around at the port, hitch a
lift and hope to pay at the last minute?!

You're right, I hadn't checked. I was booking an April crossing on that
route the other day and got the page which said 'for bookings before
27th Jan click here, after 27th Jan click here' etc  so I assumed they
did, but I guess that must be for Ireland/Britain crossings.
