Where can one go from Harwich nowadays?
What car/passenger ferries are still operating from Harwich nowadays?
I wanted to go to Hamburg but I see that DFDS have discontinued that
service. Are the only possibilities now Hook of Holland and Ejsberg?

Are there any RoRo ferries that will take an occasional car that go
out of Harwich? Or are there any alternatives to Germany from other
East Coast ports?

Sadly DFDS stopped operating the route to Cuxhaven late last year.

just Ejsberg and hook now left for pax services.

Yes, thanks, that sounds rather nice actually, we don't really like
the atmosphere of the big passenger ships and have had very pleasant
trips on the cargo ships we have been on.

I'm tempted by their Tilbury to Gothenburg route but I've never used a
cargo ship.

I'd appreciate any info, especially comparisons with the passenger
ferries.
