Greyhound
Saw a Greyhound on the M3 yesterday. No surprise there.
What did surprise me was the registration of the coach "03". Somehow I had
made an assumption that a new venture would mean new buses. Of course,
that's not a valid assumption so I told myself off.
But it makes me wonder where they came from. Anyone know? Does First
Group have a policy for "cascading" buses/coaches between operations so that
as new ones arrive on what I might call Flagship services older ones are
moved on to secondary services or to start new brands such as Greyhound?

Hi Grum, an 03 reg surprises me.
When the service started they were all 55 or 06 reg Scania Irizars which
were previously used by First on National Express services.
Not sure of their coach cascading policies.

All I've read suggests as above 55 & O6 vehicles previously used on
Nat Ex routes but downseated by two rows to give more legroom.
