First drivers in Worcester getting friendlier!
At least now they are only giving a v-sign while driving
http://tfhbus.fotopic.net/p50856359.html

last time I went there one actually got out the cab of a bus with
passengers on and threatened to rip the camera from round my neck!

Perhaps First might be interested to know about his conduct?

S'funny, I quite like being photographed while driving a bus. Strange

I assume they are required to wear it when on and about bus stations
(this is certainly a TfL requirement) and find it too much effort to
remove it. You see the same with lorry drivers.

Report him to his company, show them photograph, could be gross misconduct,
I would report him for this abuse

Re: First drivers in Worcester getting friendlier!
Arriva drivers have them on where I live, and they wear them in London,
cannot see the point in them, unless they brake down and have to leave the
vehicle, surely they do not need them on whilst driving the bus

I have emailed his company, although whether I get a reply or not is
another thing. First didn't bother replying to the last complaint
which was even worse as the driver left his vehicle running with
passengers on, on the highway to get out to threaten me.

They don't, but as it's now a requirement to wear them while off the bus,
many drivers leave them on all the time as it's less hassle.

Lothian drivers have been told they must not wear them on service. Only
inside staff are issued with them. So I don't think it can be a legal
requirement.

Blueline staff have been told they must NOT wear them whilst driving.
And they MUST wear them whilst not driving.

(and they MUST NOT have the top button undone at any time....)
