TWM New Livery spreading
I've just seen the first new liveried Travel West Midlands bus to
venture into "my" part of the region (Warley/Londonderry), Volvo B6LE
606. I still think the new liver is a bit insipid but it does keep
making me think there's a 1970 Midland Red bus heading towards me. Red
is "right" in these parts, despite the last 35 years!

In fact, these slightly older buses have suddenly started appearing on
our 120 route, to my surprise. Its very strange to encounter step
entrance buses other than Metrobuses with TWM nowadays.

(Other nearby routes, the 88, 128 and 129 still have a predominant
allocation of Metrobuses, giving a distinctly retro feel to them!)

Hi Ian

Watch out for the first new liveried ALX body (4266) on the 128/129.
It has just been repainted and is going to West Bromwich garage

And in Dudley last week I saw a 'red' B6LE with X96 on the blind. How
retro is that?!?
