well it happened,the very think i feared most,apart from cyclists in
bus lanes.i was assaulted just recently,this last week,i was attacked
from behind,while in my cab,the drivers cab,i had my window open as
you do ,i felt a blow to the head from behind,it was a black guy on a
cycle who said i knocked him of his bike,this was on the 36 route in
london,the oval/kennington area.i saw this cyclist riding one handed
using a mobile phone all over the place,gave him a wide berth he went
on to the pavement,so i moved back where i belonged in the bus lane,he
said i clipped him after he assaulted me,he smelled of a smoking
substance,not cigarettes,as i lent out the window to grab him,he then
produced a security chain and tried to hit me with that,i went code
red,the passengers saw all this happening and forced the exit door to
get off the bus making the bus immobile. i had to get out the bus to
make the doors close and all the passengers wanted to know is when i
was going to drive the bus on the journey. i walked towards the
cyclist telling him that he was a coward and he rode off quickly as i
was angry and turning green.with this action of anger i didn,t feel
the pain on my head,i know now feel what this thing called road rage
is,when your emotions are running very high you can take on everbody
who stand in your way to reach your goal.the point i am making is do i
carry on this job as this is a everyday occurence for most bus drivers
as people make up there own rules,the way they behave around buses as
we are only doing our jobs moving people around the cities and towns
of this country, this does not happen anywhere else in europe as bus
drivers are given a lot more respect because of the often stressful
job we do because without us there would be a lot more traffic on the
roads.

Her name is Eve Selis, her website is at www.eveselis.com. She's usually 
over on tour in July, but as she's just had a baby she won't be here this 
year. She did come over in February though, while 6 months pregnant, which 
was an amazing feat in itself..! Take a look at the photos page on the

Her name is Eve Selis, her website is at www.eveselis.com. She's usually 
over on tour in July, but as she's just had a baby she won't be here this 
year. She did come over in February though, while 6 months pregnant, which 
was an amazing feat in itself..! Take a look at the photos page on the 
website and you'll see several of mine :-)

There are also a few videos you can download, the carol is still on 
YouTube at http://youtube.com/watch?v=fx2Go-5ObOU if you want to watch it

Hi Mike,

She'll love you for ever for calling her "young" :-)

Her name is Eve Selis, her website is at www.eveselis.com. She's usually 
over on tour in July, but as she's just had a baby she won't be here this 
year. She did come over in February though, while 6 months pregnant, which 
was an amazing feat in itself..! Take a look at the photos page on the 
website and you'll see several of mine :-)

There are also a few videos you can download, the carol is still on 
YouTube at http://youtube.com/watch?v=fx2Go-5ObOU if you want to watch it 
again :-)
