Big Bus
I was a tour guide / sales rep (ticket seller) for Big Bus for a period
in 2003. I notice from their currrent website that they have now
separated the roles. I was considered a good guide but a lousy seller so
I got sacked. I guess they've finally realised that combining the roles
was not a good idea - the competition always had them separated.

We wondered how they got away with requiring sellers to reamain at their
stop all day and not even (officially) to sit down.

(BTW, can you believe there was a shot of an open-top DD in Rome on the
TV as I was writing this?)

I imagine there are plenty of jobs that require standing for long
