Last set of statistics I saw were still claiming it was true. Atlanta
handles the greatest number of passengers but that includes a very high
percentage of domestic traffic. LHR ranks third in total behind Atlanta and
Chicago O'Hare which also handles a lot of domestic traffic.
The physically largest is King Khalid International in Riyadh; 81 square
miles. Denver is second at 53 square miles. LHR is 4.7!
Greatest number of aircraft movements is Washington National.
