EasyJet premium rate scam.
A letter to The Guardian published on 03/02/2007 (I can't find this on
the website):

I'm flying from Cologne to London this evening for the weekend. I
got a phone message from an easyJet agent this morning, getting me
to ring a premium rate phone number, where I was kept on the line
for ages scrolling through loads of useless options.

When I finally got to speak to an agent, it transpired that the
message was that my return departure has been brought forward by
five minutes on Sunday! I reckon they will have earned about
   EUR5--6 from my call.

   Nice little earner?

Would the usual defenders of "micropayments" like to comment?
