Again nope. In many cases pedestrians are severely restricted by
barriers, multiple traffic lights and other obstacles. Also there are
no pavements on many narrow, winding country roads which have a 60mph
speed limit and are highly dangerous. Hitlerian style motorways are
much straighter and more direct than their pedestrian alternatives.
