Traffic policeman 'killed pensioner after hitting 104mph on bend of country road during training exercise'
Be interesting to see the outcome to this. Firstly, killer motorists
tend to be treated lightly and secondly cops are treated even lighter.
Any guesses?

" traffic policeman on a training exercise reached 104mph on a country
road before losing control and killing another driver, a court has
heard.

PC Sean Schofield, 38, was driving a high-performance Volvo T5 when he
crossed on to the wrong side of the road at a bend.

The police car smashed head-on into a VW Touran, killing driver Peter
Williams, 67, and injuring his wife Jean, 65..."

You really like to make yourself a hostage to fortune, don't you
Gollum? One would have thought you would have learned from the "Miles
Cooper was a motorist terrorist" fiasco, where you made an even bigger
arse of yourself than usual. I can only conclude that you enjoy being
humiliated and laughed at, Gollum.

I'd be interested to see what you would suggest as a way to train
police to drive at high speed.

They shouldn't be allowed cars at all , eliminating the need.
It's frivolous hypermobility and they should use a pedal cycle instead

No, no, no. In Duhg's anarchic utopia, there wouldn't BE any police.
There wouldn't be any need for them, either, because everybody would live
happily in harmony, hugging trees and fluffy bunny-rabbits.

Fluffy bunny rabbits go well in a casserole (without the fluff)

Why did you do that? You got it right first time and then hopelessly wrong
the second time - in the same sentence!

A. "...tend to be treated lightly" - whether factually correct or not, that
is the correct syntax.

B. "... are treated even lighter" - wrong (it should be: "are treated even
more lightly").

It isn't you who created some of those Highways Agency gantry signs, was it?

You know the one of which I'm thinking:

"Don't Drive Tired".

Are the 'Tired' was that not a Russian truck in the 60's?

In Dzhugs. vegan utopia there would not be any bunny rabbits or lambs
or any other cute animals, they would all be banned because the land
would be used to grow food. However once they realise that the foxes
no longer have any food, they would start rioting.

No idea, but I well remember their Moskovich cars from about that
period. They got banned from the roads here after some government
department did tests on them and found that they all had a braking
defect which caused them all to veer away from a straight line under
braking.

And on full lock the tyres rubbed the brake pipes.

I did one journey, from London to Sussex, in a Triumph Herald with a seized
front brake drum that drove like that. I had to stay behind lorries, as they
were the only things that didn't out-brake me.
