Air hell for five years
Makes you wonder why holidaymakers are prepared to go through hell and
risk their lives as well as polluting and wasting non-renewables. Is
it just consumerism gone rampant?

"Air passengers face five more years of bans on carrying liquids in
their hand luggage, it has emerged.

The news comes despite the result of a high-profile court trial on
Monday which saw eight suspects escape conviction over an alleged plot
to blow up planes..."

If not being able to carry a bottle of water onto a plane is your idea of
hell, then I don't know how you would describe true inconvenience and
discomfort.

It doesn't make me wonder at all. People will go through that minor
inconvenience because of the pleasure and "good times" that are at the end
of the flight. But then, you wouldn't know anything about enjoying oneself,
a practice banned in DougWorld.

I think it is airport security measures in total that is the hell as
well as the perceived threat made worse by that security.

Thank you for repeating what you already said in the OP and regurgitating

Such measures having been brought about by people like you Doug. Are you
proud of that?

May I infer from your lack of response on the thread "The moment a
pensioner smashed his car through a supermarket" that you now admit
you were talking out of your anus on the subject of manslaughter,
Gollum?

A practice banned in DougWorld now that he no longer wishes to enjoy
himself. The hypocritical old turd flew when it suited him to do so.

If that's your idea of hell Duhg, I'd love to see you in some real
discomfort!! Who cares if I can't take a bottle of water or whatever onto a
plane? What difference does it make?

BWAHAHAHA.. You old fool. When I've flown recently, I've not really noticed
it taking any longer to get through security, both here and in the USA. OK,
I had to take my shoes off but so what?

Hopefully your sock were clean?

There's more than one way to knock out a plane load of people. :-)

Not really, I'd been travelling for 36 hours without a change :-) Still, I'm
sure they've seen worse.

Well, exactly.

Perhaps you can explain why limiting the amount of liquid glop one can
carry onto an aeroplane is "hell"? Once through security one is free to
buy as much liquid anything that one wishes. Once on an aeroplane I find
that the only problem is stopping the staff forcing liquids on me when I
simply wnat to sit and read a book or listen to "banging chunes" from
Ludwig Van and his mates.

When did you last experience airport security measures?
