Anti-science Greenies cause more than transport misery
Suffering in the third world is exacerbated by the anti-science
Greenies. Their stance against *any* scientific development in
biotechnology and against the improvement in living conditions by use of
technology condemns people to live in misery and *increases*
over-population:
"the same middle-class superstitions that endeavour to keep Wi-Fi out of
schools are used to justify keeping biotechnology out of Africa."
"Whatever it is that motivates these self-styled "Greens", it isn't a
concern for the environment. Nor, despite claims to the contrary, is
there any valid concern of "over-population". The UN estimates global
population growth to peak in the 2040s at 7.87m, then decline, assuming
modest development is permitted to continue. Not only does economic
development mean fewer people, but it means less suffering: those fewer
people are much happier."

Hmm, I wonder, what sort of self-styled "green" would sponsor
overpopulation, starvation and economic misery to bolster his own
ego-fest of scientific ignorance and denial?

What You Fail To Understand (TM Doug Bollen) is that Doug's so-called
scientific ignorance is in no way an impediment to him speaking with
great authority on all matters scientific. I quote from the great man
himself:
Education is merely a "wasteful, controversial and relatively
meaningless process in order to find employment", and a "disgracefully
meritocratic, archaic and elitist screening process."
Also, in the future:
"Our linked computers will become the veritable fountain of all global
knowledge with seers like myself pointing the way and scorning those
who still cling to outmoded social systems.
No longer will self-appointed scientific and other sorts of experts be
able to confound the general public with their secrecy and jargon just
to enhance their perception of their own status. The facts will be
freely available to all at long last and every person will be able to
become their own researcher and self-educator and even employer.
This process of self-liberation from educational and political tyranny
is beginning to happen already. "

I am guessing that since the "process of self-liberation" was already
beginning to happen back in 1997, when that post was made, it must be
well underway, if not completed, by now.
So there you have it, folks. All those years of studying are as
nothing, in comparison to Gollum plus Google. "Two ozones" is the only
way forward.

I reckon for every hundred off-topic posts of yours, I'm allowed one.
That means I can post at least one a week.
