Why the fuck were you expecting to use that mains lead to power the
server?

(L-N)*SQRT(3)

Where L=230 or 240 in old money and N=0.

How many times do I need to repeat that there is 400V between phases?

ROFLMAO. It wouldn't matter a fucking jot because if you plug it into a
power supply on a different phase, the PD is still 240V and the neutral
is common across all three phases so all that'd happen is that the
input terminals on the power supply transformer in the kit would still
see 240V but the peak of that sinewave would be later than the one on
the other phase. The PSU would still work the same.

The only way you could come anywhere near 400V is to wire the live wire
from the mains lead into the live of a supply from one phase and the
neutral wire from the same mains lead into the live of a supply from
another phase which is hardly fucking likely to happen is it?

So once again, how would I end up with 400V except in the extreme
strawgrasping scenario I've just mentioned?
