Especially subsidised rents. I wonder if Gollum has researched what the 
market rent is in his part of London and compared it to his council 
rent?

I'm sure he knows perfectly well that he's onto a good thing anyway. Why 
else would he have occupied the same address since the early 1980s at 
least?
