The retards on this group
Has anyone else noticed that the retards on this group often attack
other posters for the very thing that is their own weakest point.
For example, Duhg often accuses others of being scientifically
illiterate, when he must be the most pig-ignorant person in the world
when it comes to all matters scientific. Toomtard likes to accuse
people of muddled thinking, when his own postings show that he is
incapable of clear thought. And Glug used to accuse people of being
stupid ... need I say more on that one?
Is this is phenomenon seen in other newsgroups? If so, does it have a
name, cf. Godwin's law?

Perhaps the new 'law' could be named after one of the Dougs.

Interesting that such 'projection' is a symptom of Antisocial
personality disorder, which is the condition that Doug "noid" Bollen was
diagnosed as having ooh back in the dark ages when Usenet was powered by
candles.

Interesting, I didn't know he'd been given an actual diagnosis.
Antisocial Personality Disorder diagnostic criteria:
Three or more of the following are required:
1. Failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful
behaviours as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds
for arrest;
2. Deceitfulness, as indicated by repeatedly lying, use of aliases,
or conning others for personal profit or pleasure;
3. Impulsivity or failure to plan ahead;
4. Irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical
fights or assaults;
5. Reckless disregard for safety of self or others;
6. Consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to
sustain consistent work behaviour or honour financial obligations;
7. Lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or
rationalising having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another.
Crikey, that's him all over.

Yup, that's the Bollum we know and, er, know.
There is also a list of typical symptoms:
Persistent lying or stealing
Recurring difficulties with the law
Tendency to violate the rights and boundaries of others (property,
physical, sexual, emotional, legal)
Substance abuse
Aggressive, often violent behavior; prone to getting involved in
fights
A persistent agitated or depressed feeling (dysphoria)
Inability to tolerate boredom
Disregard for the safety of self or others
A childhood diagnosis of conduct disorders - this is not a symptom but
"a history of"
Lack of remorse, related to hurting others
Superficial charm
Impulsiveness
A sense of extreme entitlement
Inability to make or keep friends
Recklessness, impulsivity
People with a diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder often
experience difficulties with authority figures.
I'd go along with most of them, apart from the "Superficial charm" ...

OK, so that's Duhg explained. I think we all know why Glug used to
behave as he did. So that just leaves the Toomtard. Anyone got an
explanation for his bizarre behaviour?

Cause and effect, mate. If Duhg will insist on bombarding the group with
daily cut and pastes to further his particular agenda, then he's bound
to provoke a reaction. He posts in order to provoke a reaction, so he
can't really complain when he gets one.
Duhg has been posting on Usenet for a long, long time and has frequently
entangled himself in his own webs of deceit. His problem here is that he
is fundamentally dishonest and, unfortunately for him, his many
self-contradictions are all archived through Google Groups. This,
coupled with his inability to live up to the standards he sets for
everyone else, makes him a laughing stock.
This is a problem entirely of Duhg's own making. He gets the reaction he
does because he rubs everyone up the wrong way. He even manages to
alienate people who are on his 'side', e.g. cyclists and
environmentalists.
And yet, when he posted a few months ago to say that he had been
involved in a road accident (as a cyclist) with a car, he got an
overwhelming response of sympathy and compassion. This clearly threw him
for a while, as this was not the reaction he expected at all.
There was a period not too long ago when Duhg didn't post for almost two
years. There was speculation that he'd died, or maybe finally got a
life, but then one day he suddenly returned, same old Duhg as he ever
was. In his absence, the group was much quieter but was a far more civil
place to be.
Like I said, Toomy, it's cause and effect.

There, there, of course Toomy.
When someone replies quickly, of course it's all down to your expert
trolling. It has nothing to do with newsreaders being configured to
receive and send posts in real time, oh no.
And when they don't reply quickly, that's all down to your expert
trolling too. All hail Toomy the sub-literate attention-seeker..

I think you really should consider enrolling in a remedial reading
class. I've checked my post, the one you've replied to, and cannot
find any swearing or insulting. I did note that I had made a joke (not
a very good one, I admit) about a person (or is that persons?) who
post to this NG and in the past have postulated a theory about there

Tee hee, the retard tries to correct someone's spelling.
The thing is, Toomtard, that it is easy to understand what Peter was
saying, his typo notwithstanding. Contrast this to one of your
efforts:
"TfL tried to keep congestion charge increases total CO2 in London"
Complete retarded gibberish.

Just as there are two types of ozone, perhaps there are two types of
Toomtard on this group. If so, it must have been the other Toomtard
who posted the "sentence" I cut and pasted above:
http://groups.google.co.uk/group/uk.rec.driving/msg/8dcc755907ca4eca?hl=en&dmode=source
Or perhaps Toomtard is such a drooling retard that he can't remember
what he posts. Hmmm, I wonder which is more likely?
I have to hand it to you, Toomy - you make Dung look intelligent,
which is a real achievement. Congratulations!

I'm not sure that "look" is the right word in Doug's case in that he

So the word "not" is missing from your "sentence" is it Toomtard? Shall
we try to remedy that?
Not TfL tried to keep congestion charge increases total CO2 in London.
TfL not tried to keep congestion charge increases total CO2 in London
TfL tried not to keep congestion charge increases total CO2 in London
TfL tried to not keep congestion charge increases total CO2 in London
TfL tried to keep not congestion charge increases total CO2 in London
TfL tried to keep congestion not charge increases total CO2 in London
TfL tried to keep congestion charge not increases total CO2 in London
TfL tried to keep congestion charge increases not total CO2 in London
TfL tried to keep congestion charge increases total not CO2 in London
TfL tried to keep congestion charge increases total CO2 not in London
TfL tried to keep congestion charge increases total CO2 in not London
TfL tried to keep congestion charge increases total CO2 in London not
No, every single variation is still complete and utter retarded
gibberish. Here's a challenge for you Toomtard. Write the sentence
inserting the work "not" where you think it makes the sentence have
meaning or indeed insert any word(s) that you allege were removed from
that sentence which has, as Google will show, been reproduced verbatim.
I'm sure such a noted radio play author as yourself who can command £10K
repeat fees fron the BBC will find it a doddle to post a version of that
sentence in your native language.

What you could have done was answer what was, a very simple question.
Not only did I ask you to clarify your statement, I also took your
sugestion that the word "not" had been edited from your reply and quoted
every single possible variation on that sentence that contained the word
"not". I could not make sense of any of the variants. I then asked you
clearly and simply to correct the sentence using either the word "not"
or indeed any other words of your choice so that the sentence could be
understood.
It was a fair and generous offer. I'm doing you the respect of assuming
that you wanted to communicate something and I'm giving you the chance
to communicate whatever it is that you wish to communicate. I'm also
taking at face value your claim to be a noted
author/director/producer/contributor (whatever) to Radio 7 and, since
radio is entirely a medium of communication in speech, assuming that you
are indeed capable of expressing yourself in your native language.
So I ask again, what meaning did you intend the following sentence:
"TfL tried to keep congestion charge increases total CO2 in London"
to convey?
Don't try to argue that I have changed that sentence, I haven't. It's
quoted verbatim. Don't try to bluster or snip or abuse or tell lies
about me or anyone else. Simply explain or correct the sentence above.
It's not that hard to do, is it?
> Steve you're not stupid JUST a TROLL
That's a lie. Asking you to explain yourself is not trolling.
> - eight homes at the last count ,
Another lie.
> fleet of upmarket cars
Another lie.
> - no car,
Yet another lie.
> young and old ,pro and anti GW, retired with half a dozen careers blah di

And yet more lies.
> You form of character assasination is to usually make statements which you

More lies.

Firstly your statement is a lie. I have stated that your command of
English is rubbish. But not for the reasons that you cite. I state that
your command of English is rubbish because you are incapable of
expressing yourself in a coherent sentence.
> Other examples I've been slated for are aural - spelt wrong - Duh! ,
> told that things can not GO on fire they have to CATCH fire.
Were those comments made by me?
> And I only got £1.5k after all it was Radio7 (named after the number of

I still consider your statement to be a lie, unless your involvement was
playing "incoherent mumbling youth" in a play about chavs.

You may lie down and get fisted with a Belisha Beacon for all I care
Toomy. Your outpourings on this group have shown you to be a sadly
deluded and somewhat pathetic nobody. You utter complete and utter
fantasy and *always* run away when challenged. Then you repeat the same
old lies, over and over again.
Now, you have a simple task. One sentence, correct it so that it makes
sense in your native language.
