Their addiction strikes home!
Must secure their fix at any price.
"Motorists began a rush to the fuel pumps last night in advance of the
four-day strike by tanker drivers. The 641 drivers contracted to
supply one in ten service stations operated by Shell are to walk out
from 6am today and will not return to work until the 6am shift next
Tuesday..."

I didn't panic buy and I dare say I'll survive until things settle down
after the stike ends.
In fact, I filled the 306 up with the last of my biodiesel at the
beginning of last week and still have 3/4 of a tank left. Granted I
haven't been over to the Lytham office for a while because the guy I
work with over there is on leave. I can't even remember the last time we
filled up the Vectra; over two weeks ago for sure and that's got about
2/3 of a tank remaining. This included a family hypermobility to visit
Rievaulx Abbey last weekend.
So when you take the work-expenses mileage out of the equation it seems
we use very little fuel.

I think you are right doug, when I filled up her car yesterday there
was a disproportionate amount of traffic in the fuel station plus a
queue into the street, usually this only occurs on a saturday
afternoon.
Luckily I have sufficient supplies of cooking oil to keep my chelsea
tractor going for a few weeks yet.

I'll be filling up today but then i usually fill up at the end of the
week due to need.
I'm kind of addicted to earning money. I admit it.
I'm not that keen on starving.
