It wasn't censorship though it was enforcing laws they tend to be lax
on. The film makers were aware of what should have been done but
chose to chance it as normally you get away with it. Its a bit like
parking illegally hoping you won't get a fine then moaning like hell
when you get a fine. Had the film been through the normal channels
they could have done nothing to stop it being shown.

I agree, the film makers have exploited this situation as a great
oppertunity for free publicity. Given how savvy they are its a
surprise they got into such a situation in the first place... unless
they wanted to get into this situation for some reason...
