Finarea/Betamax VoipIn Numbers
There are so many of the Finarea providers offering VoipIn numbers. I have
just signed up with voipcheap.com but was disappointed to get an 05601
number. Do any of the providers offer a real UK geographical telephone
number?

voipcheap.co.uk used to give you an 0161 700 xxxx number, but
sadly no longer. Mine still works and I hope it continues because
it is very apt for someone in north Manchester like me.
If your device can cope with separate incoming and outgoing
accounts then simply sign up for a free account from Sipgate
or Orbtalk who will give you a geographic number of the area
of your choice.

Yes, have a look at Sipgate.

Because they presume you are in the US I guess, so you are actually
dialing an international UK number from the US.

Saying that, can you configure a voipcheap.com account to call a 1800 US
freecall number for free I wonder.... not that I ever have reason to
call them, besides US calls are free anyway.
