Orange Cheese Shop sketch
Like the Monty Python sketch, Orange are the cleanest mobile network in the
country, in that they now don't want subscribers contaminating their
network.

I've just suspended my Orange ED50 as i don't need it for the next month,
in Snooks day you could suspend your account from a few weeks to several
months

FT Orange told me the Minimum period is now 3 months,
OK suspend it for 3 months then instead i told them, your loss!

Beam me up Scotty, there's no intelligent life down here

For Orange exec: The futures bright, the futures in a straight jacket

and **** on them all the time.

If there was no minimum period the service could easily be abused. For
example you might get someone who suspended every monday-friday and only
used it for weekends.

For a supposedly intelligent man you really don't think things through
before posting sometimes.

Orange would never make any money out of such customers.

> You've become a sad apologist for the crap now served up by FT Orange.

I don't agree with a lot of things they do and I bloody work for them,
but that doesn't make me an apologist.

No network would ever offer a service whereby you could simply turn on
your contract off and on at will with no minimum period of time. It
would be far too costly to administer (Customer Services would be
constantly busy taking calls from people wanting to turn their service
on or off) and simply would not be practical.

Is Orange still the only network to even offer the contract suspension
service in the first place? I've not ever heard anyone on this newsgroup
mention that other networks do it and I've been reading it for nigh on
ten years.

The fact is Snooks Orange did, and Now FT Orange don't.

All you have proved is FT Orange is now just like any other penny pinching
network, when once it was innovative without always putting costing first

Which is exactly the problem with FT Orange, you are so far up
FT Oranges arse you have lost sight of the problem.

I've already applied in fact, but there are no suitable vacancies in my
area.
