Un-customise Samsung E250 on Vodafone
We have 2 Samsung E250s in the household. One seems to be plain
Samsung, the other is Vodafone branded and distinctly less convenient to
use, some menu items & structures are vodafone and in particular 1 of
the 2 keys below the screen is assigned to Vodafone live rather than
contacts. Its all rather red and garish as well but I can live with
that. I guess its in the firmware as it cannot be changed via menu
options.

(Why do they do that - if you buy a car the garage doesn't swap all the
switchgear around because they think their idea is better than the
manufacturer's!)

So - is it possible to return to its native Samsung state?

I am happy to remain with Voda - its not an unlocking question.

Accidentally going on the internet several times a day when you pay by
the byte soon adds up.

De-branding is the technical term you're after.
