Message envelope.
How do you get the callers number when listening to a voicemail on
virgin mobile?

It tells you at some point. If you ask it to play all the options.
As you seem to know, it is the 'Message Envelope' you want. I think it might
be '4' but I don't have my phone available just now to check.

My mistake, it's '5' whilst you are listening to the message. It tells you
the time and date it was left, then the number it was left from (if it was
available).
