Now that there are laptops with integrated HSDPA modules What options
are available on PAYG? Can you , for example, use a Three PAYG SIM on
the £5/month deal?  I want PAYG for 2 reasons. The first is that I
will not want to top up every month and, secondly, there is no risk of
running up some fantastic bill due to the small print from
untrustworthy operators (of which Vodafone seems by far the worst).
I do believe that the phone offering by Three is not HSDPA - or am I
wrong? Does this mean that the SIM for this, or other reason(s) will
not operate in a laptop with a HSDPA integrated module . I don't mind
if it is slower, I just don't want to pay more than £5/month and I'm
not willing to pay even that amount unless there is at least 1GB
because I think data is overpriced anyway. Further and importantly,
are any of these offers 'walled garden' only? 
In summary, I am looking for a way of using a HSDPA enabled laptop to
connect to an 'open' internet,  on PAYG, for no more than £5/month.
