A technical question.
Could someone please give me some Cell IDs with LACs for the SE
Cornwall and Plymouth area. I am experimenting with a program called
Cell Track on my old Nokia 3650 and as I will shortly be taking a
holiday in the above area I would like to put the info in the cell
list in advance.

Thanks

Hi
LAC = Local area code.
I already know of the site you mentioned but it only gives site
location and company site number. I need the cell ID and LAC that each
cell transmits. Any Nokia with Net Monitor will display that info when
you get in range of a particular cell.
The Cell Track symbion software enables you to enter cell details in
advance on a PC, then import into the phone. So when the phone logs
onto a cell, it will display the details you have entered instead of
just the 5 digit ID.

Cheers

Location area code. And sitefinder will not give the OP what he wants.

Most of us South East Cornwall residents are happy to get a signal at
all - we don't care where it comes from!!!

With the exception of Looe, you will be lucky if you get any signal in
the coastal villages and valleys.

Due to the terrain, your signal strength will go from 0 to Max within a
few feet.

Have a nice holiday - but look out for phone boxes :)

Haha
But over here in north Kent we have got used to managing without phone
boxes because the local yobs tend to vandalise them. They find they
are great for testing those illegally imported high explosive
fireworks.

Thanks for the info, but I have been to your beautiful county several
times before.
