Most of us would be in a sorry state without our local councilors and
left to the mercy of the paid council staff because I feel sure
council tax would be increased by at least 50% if the council staff
where let loose with their stupid ideas it would have to do .
Not long ago our borough council where approached by a neighboring
city a city that just loved to spend spend spend, at the time it was
labour controlled changed to Conservative last year thank God with a
view to merging with them and becoming one big city. At the time our
tea drinking staff in the council offices thought it a good idea to
merge probably they had though's on even thicker carpets in the
offices and even more tea drinking during working hours . The
conservative councilors with a little help from the Libdems stopped
the buggers when it came to the vote thank God .

Depends what party your councilors belong to Labourits will always
spend spend spend without thinking who is doing the paying just like
ratbag Brown and his merry men do in London . I am looking forward
to seeing Brown's face come Friday morning when Crewe and Nantwich
turns a very deep BLUE .
