BT billing :-(
Copied and pasted from my BT online billing :-

"Monthly Payment Plan notice
As your overall charges are more than you
are currently paying, we've increased your
monthly payment amount from £17.00 to
£14.00. "

Sigh :-( *They* messed up my payments in the first place - *not* me. Seems
they are getting more confused than ever :-)

Does look like they are very confused, maybe they don't expect people's
bills to go down and don't have a phrase in the computer for that! :-)

Why not switched to Monthly Whole Bill by Direct Debit and only pay each
month what you owe?

I just like the same payments each month - I'm strange :-) More so for
energy bills - I'd hate to pay big money in the winter - the same each
month suits me fine.

My BT billing mess up isn't causing me any financial problems - I'm
laughing :-) I just think they should get their act together and not
confuse their customers.

We once had our payments increased from £52 to £0 before they were (I
presume decreased in BT's terminology anyway) to £42. You can adjust the
payment taken every month, within certain boundaries, if you have online
billing my logging into it and clicking on the Payments section anyway so I
agree that it does make budgeting easier just as long as you make sure the
payment is set as a reasonable level after each bill so an under- or
over-payment situation cannot develop.

Monthly whole bill is not available to new customers. BT only want to be
paid in advance, quarterly whole bill or monthly payment plan.

Odd, then, that they should have allowed it for me as a new customer. All it
took was a phone call.

What utter crud, what company in their right mind doesn't want customers
to settle their bills in full each month? Other than companies who
beneift by charging interest of course.

I only just went back to BT and it was the first option the girl gave me
over the phone.

Re:BT billing :-(
i have found BT most negligent and unapproachable and a company accountable
to no one.
