can you connect two wireless routers together ?
I have moved and just been sent a Home Hub , one of those
square white BT wireless routers with the phone for voip
attached at front

I also have a BT voyager 2500v

just wondering if i can plug the voagaer into the home hub
as it has two viop lines , therefore giving me 3 viop lines
.its just a thought and unlikely to work

BUT ..... any thoughts ?

It should work. I have used an old ADSL router as both a hub and 2nd wireless
access point. I can't guarantee the VOIP, in my case the VOIP phone works on
my N95 without anything special on the router. But the following will get the
two working together.

1. Turn off DHCP Server on the voyager.
2. Check the DHCP range the homehub is using, it should be something like
   192.168.1.100 onwards.
3. Set the voyagers IP to be on the same subnet as the homehub, but with a
different IP address. i.e. if the homehubs ip is 192.168.1.1 then set the
the voyager to use 192.168.1.2. Bear in mind the results of 2 when choosing.
4. Make sure the homehub isn't using WEP.
5. All should then work, at least the voyagers ethernet ports will work. Don't
know how the VOIP ports work i.e. whether they can route to the local LAN.

Old protocols never die. They just get migrated over TCP/IP.
