Sky Talk
Am I right in thinking that if I sign up for Sky Talk but still pay my Line
Rental to BT, I can 'hop back' onto BT at any time by dialling 1280?

If so, once I have 'hopped back' can I use the services of 18185.co.uk etc
if I wish by dialling 128018185?

Finally would I still benefit from BT's Caller Display and BT Answer 1571
... for all my incoming calls?

Thanks - Steve

1280 merely forces the call through the operator who bills your line
rental; in your case, BT Retail.

No need to dial 1280 before 18185's prefix; infact it'll likely prevent
18185 from working.

Yes.

Yes so long as you do not take their Line Rental option. You do not need
to dial 128018185 just dialling 18185 takes you off Sky. For BT's Caller
Display and BT Answer to be free you need to make a certain number of
calls through BT. You could make all your weekend 01/02 calls through
BT, you don't have to make chargeable calls, inclusive calls are enough.

Have you seen Sky's prices for 0845 and 0870 calls, make sure you "hop"
elsewhere for these calls. Found on Page 5 here:
http://mysky.sky.com/Assets/PDF/StaticFiles/3362110.pdf

BT's rates for comparison are:
		Eve Day
0845 0.5 2.0
0870 1.5 6.0

Sky
		Eve Day
0845 6 6
0870 8 10
