I actually do not watch that TV show but again, it is just faux
entertainment, nothing real about it, it is imaginary.

And you are incorrect, what about all of the James Bond movies?  Where
in them women were nothing more than toys to 007.  Where in this do
you see the message that men are worthless?

TV shows are written for target audiences, and that one I am guessing
was created for women that live in the city and they think 'this' is
what they find entertaining, a plot people will turn into.
