Photos have appeared in the local paper and on Border TV, also
reported to me by a friend in Scotby while he was riding his cycle in
the area.

Of all days an unusual one to get such an event, unless anyone knows
any different. The day did start fine and bright but soone clouded
over and became quite still, perhaps there was a line of convergence
nearby . Winds here were NE at first. ?
