Aug16: Ireland - Landslide; train derailed
Widespread flooding reported across Ireland today. Reports from the AA
Roadwatch sight http://www.aaroadwatch.ie/ tell of delays on many major
roads due to flooding.

Additionally there was an incident on the Dublin to Cork railway line where
the train hit a tree that had fallen due to a landslide. No casualities
reported thankfully but travel is disrupted.

It's chucking it down here in Dublin with reports of the odd flash of
lightning although I've yet to see any. Wind has picked up too. It is a
truly, wretched day out there...thankfully the footie-season is back on!!!
Now where did I leave the TV remote...
