[WR] 1700Z RE+SHRA West Moors/East Dorset
... clouded over dramatically between 1600 & 1615Z, very threatening
sky (Beaufort 'u'), then moderate/isol heavy shower 1615-1630, with
light/intermittent rain (from thinning Ac deck) to 1650Z: rainfall 3
mm.

Brightening up from the west, so it looks as if the 'Proms' at Upton
could be OK!

Martin.

We had a couple of showers. A rather moderate one before the proms
started - the presenter (Earl Carpenter) took the **** slightly by
statng he has been having a nice meal in the dry whilst we were
getting soaked! The was a slight shower during the perfomance but by
then the wine was beginning to take its toll so we didn't care! The
wind was quite light so it took a while for the ppt. to clear.
