[WR] Sanday 28th June 2008
Another calm day here today, but somewhat wet and miserable. Wind F1
SE'ly, temp 12.2C. Rain since 09z 1mm, but this may be low as I have
just cleaned an amount of bird poo out of the rain collector.
Yesterday was glorious, fine and sunny, screen temp max of 18.2C, the
highest of the year so far. Very warm in the sun. It would definitely
have been a "hammock day" if (a) I had one, (b) had any trees to hang
one from, and (c) I didn't have to work.

Hi, Steve,
A bit like my Saturday evening BBQ's. just one so far this summer. I
need calm, sunny, family all together, me not going out and no Sky
sport. Not easy!
Currently trying to put up four posts for shed extension. They fill up
with water every night, I spend the day draining them, then it rains
again!
According to David Mitchell next week will be worse. Not used to this
wet stuff - don't like it (:0(

June has come as a bit of a disappointment (with a few notable
exceptions like yesterday) after May, which was dry and sunny. Shouldn't
complain, though, I didn't move here for the long hot summers!
