May rainfall
Totalling 1.5mm here. Several forecasts of rain over the last few days have
not materialised - even been 'yellow' a few times. Thundery activity seems
to be staying largely away from UK waters..

4.9mm here in Leeds so far, with only light rain/drizzle off/on most of
the day. There was thundery activity a short while ago, but with only
light rain.
Patiently waiting for it to dry up so I can cut my hedge etc.

Well, St. Mawgan got >40mm a couple of days ago, parts of Truro were
flooded yesterday, and some houses in Devon were damaged by lightning
on Thursday.
Mind you, nothing exciting has happened in Penzance (weatherwise that
is).

... 8.8 mm here in West Moors (just north of Ferndown) after
frighteningly 'severe' drizzle this morning, and 10.6 mm at Hurn:
we're still awaiting " le déluge " ..... ;_)
