Warming to Nuclear Power
http://www.votivation.com/opinion.php?opinion_id=1799

I think that: I think we have to re-look at building several nuclear power stations if we are to meet or electricity needs and reduce our carbon emissions
Because: Things did not go all right in the past but we have been generating 20% of our electricity with nuclear energy - other counties have produced more. It would be great to build renewables but there will be problems with location, costs and the intermittant nature of the power generation but they will make a contribution. Nuclear power is carbon neutral and moderm technology is safe and economic. We have to start building nuclaer power stations now. Also we will be less dependent on foreign countries for gas and coal as the fueal comes form Austarlia and Canada. All in all Nukes are the answer to the growing energy gap.....
