GETTING THERE
The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is in Regent's Park; Transport Zone
2; AtoZ map 60:
The entrance to the ZSL Meeting Rooms is separate from the main entrance
to the Zoo, on the opposite side of the road, more or less at the end of
the Broad Walk across Regent's Park, at the extreme NE corner of the Zoo
grounds.
The nearest underground stations are Camden Town, Great Portland Street,
and Baker Street. Maps are available by post from the Royal
Meteorological Society or on its web site: www.royal-met-soc.org.uk

GETTING THERE BY TRAIN
From SW - WATERLOO for Bakerloo Line or Northern Line;
OR WIMBLEDON for District line to Edgware Road;
OR RICHMOND for North London Line to Camden Road (35 mins).
From S - VICTORIA, take Victoria Line to Warren Street; change to
Northern Line or walk.
From S & SE - LONDON BRIDGE for Northern Line.
From E - FENCHURCH STREET, LIVERPOOL STREET / BROAD STREET - Circle Line;
OR MOORGATE and take Northern Line.
From N & NE - KING'S CROSS, Northern Line.
From N & NW - EUSTON, Northern Line or walk.
OR WATFORD JUNCTION to South Hampstead and walk.
From Birmingham & Aylesbury - MARYLEBONE, take bus 274 from Gloucester
Place.
From W & SW - PADDINGTON, take Circle Line (Eastbound).

GETTING THERE BY UNDERGROUND
District line via Earls Court to Edgware Road then 1/2 mile along
Marylebone Road to bus 274 (see below) OR change to Circle or
Metropolitan lines.
Circle line to Baker Street or Great Portland Street;
Metropolitan to Baker Street or Great Portland Street;
Bakerloo line to Baker Street (Regent's Park STATION IS CLOSED)
Jubilee line to Baker Street or St John's Wood;
Piccadilly line to Leicester Square then Northern Line;
Victoria Line to Warren Street or Euston then Northern Line (or walk, see
below);
Northern line to Camden Town (or Mornington Crescent) then walk or bus
274;
Central Line to Marble Arch (for bus 274) or Oxford Circus (for bus C2).

GETTING THERE BY BUS
No 274 Marble Arch, Gloucester Place (near Marylebone and Baker Street,
stops Q & T), ZOO, Camden Town (LTE), Camden Road (BR) (stop S).
C2 runs from Oxford Circus via Great Portland Street station (stop E),
alight before the double traffic lights at the NE corner of the Park
(Gloucester Gardens?).

GETTING THERE ON FOOT
From Camden Town Station about 1 mile (RECOMMENDED ROUTE FOR FIRST
TIMERS); use RIGHT-hand exit barriers, go left and almost immediately
right at the traffic lights to Royal Bank of Scotland, UPHILL (watch for
rather inconspicuous signs on dark blue posts) passing the "Rat & Parrot"
and a Starbucks coffee shop. At double set of traffic lights, cross and
turn right at second part of junction and walk beside the Park. After a
few hundred yards turn left across footbridge over the canal. Turn right
at the road and the Meeting Rooms of the ZSL are the second (ugly)
building on your right.
From Great Portland Street & Warren Street stations, cross
Marylebone Road then 1 mile along the Broad Walk through Regent's Park.
RECOMMENDED ON FINE DAYS. Snack at 'The Honest Sausage' if time.
From Marylebone 1.25 mile; left out of station to Baker Street (further
but much easier road crossings).
From Baker Street approx 1 mile via W. edge of boating lake or round Outer
Circle (clockwise).
From St John's Wood 1 mile; down Wellington Road then left along Prince
Albert Road.
From King's Cross/St Pancras 1.75 miles via Pancras Road and Crowndale
Road to Mornington Crescent, then NW to Prince Albert Road.
From Euston (use side (fire) exit by platform 18) 20 mins walk via
Cardington St, Hampstead Rd, Granby Ter, Park Village East to traffic
lights (see note for Camden Town).
