Nit treatment.
The Young Master was lousy. I treated him (and self) with "Full
Marks" mousse. This contains an insecticide (phenothrin). I
applied it as directed, and was rewarded by seeing a considerable
number of lice removed.

Some of these lice I kept, to examine under a microscope.
After a while, these started to wiggle, and one even crawled
to the other side of the tissue paper I'd left it on. Is
phenothrin always effective against head lice?

I'd like to repeat the treatment next week. Is "Full Marks"
the best stuff? It certainly is expensive! Are there any cheaper
effective remedies?
