If you take a look at the Google archives, you'll see that Alan Holmes
is a particularly nasty troll who really shouldn't be fed.

He also has a history of sending inappropriate emails, randomly, to
female posters.

He's best ignored.

I only rarely use Google Groups, and I'm fairly new to this group,
