Did Martians ride bicycles?
One day earlier this year a high resolution image of Mars showing clouds
casting shows was announced on <sci.space.news>; the image is at
http://themis.asu.edu/zoom-20080616a.
If you downloaded it look at the bottom left of the image and you will see a
long, narrow, curved trail made by a BMX type vehicle. In the top right
corner there is another, straighter, trail where the rider has gone to
explore two big deep pits (too elongated to be craters).
I suppose these trails could have been made very hard impactors arriving
almost horizontally and rolling to a halt; but I like the bike theory
better!

Nice try, Rodney. Best leave it to the experts, eh? ;-)
I got the Tracking Proficiency badge in the Wolf Cubs.
And, I was Chief Sixer, so I easily outrank you!
That's no more a Schwalbe Kevlar Extreme Airborne Inversion than I'm a
tricktricyclist.
My expert impression is that these are Martian microbe tracks produced
by dragging Lin's body parts around.
Or is that just wishful thinking?
