PING - Mike Dworetsky
When prospective Undergrads are visiting the ULO as part of the
interview for UCL's Astronomy degree, what's the best way of getting to
Mill Hill?

Glad to help.

Candidates visit the UCL Department of Physics and Astronomy in the morning
and are then led by a student guide to the Observatory; travel is by
crossing the street to Euston Square station and a reasonably fast
underground and train journey to Mill Hill Broadway. Depending on numbers,
they have lunch at the Observatory (if n < 16) or at UCL itself. After the
visit, those who need to catch trains or buses from Central London are
escorted back via St Pancras International (which is on the line from Mill
Hill). Haven't lost one yet...

Little known fact: UCL was recently ranked by THES among the world's top 10
Universities.
