I never new flares to stay in formation and maintain the same altitude
for long periods of time???  Even a whisper of air would alter their
orientation with each other. The government did not come out
officially and say it was flares because their not THAT stupid. Only
an ASSstromer was trite enough to explain it away with flares flying
in perfect formation.  Either the asstromer was an absolute fool or
he's on someone's payroll.  Maybe Ian is right. Aliens ARE insects.
