TBerk One guy hit the nail precisely on the head - http://groups.google.com/group/sci.astro.research/msg/46be522376af3010 Those who remember that remarkable situatiuon when feebleminded observational astronomers suddenly decided to 'define' a planet and suffered the indignity of having a planet removed by the dynamicists who care nothing about astronomy except as a background for their wild and exotic guesswork for celestial structure and evolution. When they eventually came up with a 'definition' it looks like it was an exercise in ridicule.
