The Globular Cluster 47 Tucanae

Discovered by Abbe Nicholas on September 14, 1751. NGC 104, better
known as 47 Tucanae, was discovered by Louis de Lacaille in 1751 and
is the second brightest and second largest globular cluster in the
sky. (Omega Centauri is in first place).
