Markarian's Chain: Galaxy Group (Virgo & Coma Berenices)

Markarian's Chain is a group of galaxies that lies at the heart of the
Virgo cluster. Two massive lenticular (SO) galaxies, M86 and M84 at
the right, dominate the image. NGC 4438, the spiral galaxy in the
centre, appears to be distorted by its interaction with nearby NGC
4435.
