So true.  It's almost the equivalent of "beer goggles". ;-)

I think Condor was far more than a false dawn.  It established that
there was a market for fast containerised freight running to a regular
timetable.  Together with developments in the shipping industry, it
spawned Freightliner, which has since grown beyond recognition.
