227, no.  They wouldn't have lasted long - in those days there was the
water tower at the top of Summer Hill to contend with, as well as
Shortlands Station. It was one of the last routes to retain doorless
crew operated RFs.

228, yes, for many years; just as soon as Sidcup Station bridge was dug
out to allow double deckers to pass in about 1958 or 1959.
