OT - Chav's
I see on the news that that bunch of lilly-livered pinko's in The
Fabian Society, want the word 'chav' to be banned because it's
derogatory to a section of British youth..... I think they mean the
uncultured thicko section.

You couldn't make it up.

What else would you expect from the Fabians, common purpose, etc.
The trouble is - these types are now firmly in control of what remains of
Britain.
We all know it is daft, but what can you do other than stage a revolution?

I understand that a Ms. something or other is being paid around £70K by the
met polizei to come up with such brilliant suggestions as "The police should
celebrate Roma Gypsies"
Not only is it daft as you say, it is also expensive!

When you think of all of those former fox-hunts, out of work now that
fox-hunting has been banned. It's such a shame that they didn't just
switch over to asylum-seeker/benefit-seeeker hunting.

It would make a great televised sport... I'm surprised nice Mr Sun
hasn't told The Brownies to make it legal... Of course you would need
bigger dogs... Or maybe leopards.

And that's another thing... All of these illegal immigrants who keep
escaping from the holiday-camps they're sent to. Why not build the
detention centres in the middle of the lion enclosures at safari parks
... Longleat, Windsor etc.

I'll bet the little sod's wouldn't be so keen on escaping then.

Nope, islands make the best prison camps, stick them on the Isle of Wright
then set up a great white shark breeding colony there.

COBBLERS!

That's far too expensive. You would have to fence of that whole area
of the Solent and English Channel.

If you didn't the place would be full of bloody Japanese fishing boats
trying to catch soddin' lunch.

The piece at the top, between the 2 patch leads.

I really did receive such an email and am still (about a year on) awaiting a
reply. The page has grown since then too!

But even with nothing happening, it's better than listening to Raynet
running a car-park - or whatever it is they let the sad-sod's do these
days.

Good site, well done, a refreshing change from the usual "Ham" web sites
dedicated to a collection of antique morse keys or similar old crap.

Thanks RT.

I won't say it's been easy but it's worth it! I try and include something
for everyone on the site, hence, among other things, the Recipes section
(gives the XYLs something to do!) and the Battery Equivalents (just what is
this Burgess U20 and where can I get a replacement?) as well as the more
usual Constructors Corner.

Brian, MW0GKX.
