A Festival of Dangerous Ideas
Christopher Hitchens uses his keymote address to defend the idea that
"religion poisons everything". Watch the full version if you've got the
time. He's in full flight.

Susan Greenfield and Dambisa Moyo are worth a watch too, even if not
strictly relevent to atheism.

Couldn't get the full video to download for some reason, but the short clip
is both funny and thought-provoking. Seems obvious when you think about it -
a conservative 100,000 years of mankind, yet 'God' left countless
generations to die horribly of incurable diseases and do unmentionable
things to each other for the best part of 98,000 years before eventually
getting off his arse and deciding to drop into a barren land of illiterate
peasants to pass on his message. And why not China, where they had a
relatively advanced culture?

Thanks for the link, nice one.
