"Abomination of Desolation'' Standing in the Holy Place''? Matt 24:15
"Abomination of Desolation'' Standing in the Holy Place''? Matt 24:15
What is the "Abomination of Desolation'' causing desolation in all
Christian Nations today?
Prophecy informs us the "Abomination of Desolation'' was established in
1945.
Dan 12;11''And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and
the "abomination of desolation'' is set up, there shall be 1,290 days''
Rev 11;2'' Do not measure it, for it has been given to the gentiles, and
they will tread the holy city under foot for 42 months.''
42 months of yrs is 1,260 yrs, add this to the 1,290 found at Dan 12:11
+ 1 for year 0, the answer is 2,551. 6 mo before the end of WWII. and
establishing the UN..
The UN never stood in the holy place, but the first act of the UN was
the establishment of modern Israel. Abomanable Israel has always stood
in the holy place.
Christianity has suffered decline a hundred ways, because of ''the
abomination of desolation is set up'' Dan 12;11...
Prosperity will return to Christianity, but Zionist control of
Christianity must be removed before that can happen.

What a complete load of superstitious twaddle! Why on earth do you
bother posting it here?

I think you'll find that the whole idea of a prophesy is that it is
supposed to be before the event, not after it.

Oh, and I can tell you what is causing desolation in christian
nations today: people are walking away from this superstitious
mythology in droves.

REPLY: Len, Its no good posting Theological issues in an atheist NG.
Your best bet is to take atheisms 'rationale' and explore that since
this is the great Faith all atheists hold too. When you look at the
faith required of an atheist, it is easy to see that its not about
evidence or rationale or good reasoning...but rather its about ones
desire for lifestyle autonomy, entitlement attitudes, and choosing
ones own morals to engage in (if any) . This is why atheism is truly
a secular religion lived out daily. Until the 'atheist' comes to
terms with the charade, he/she will not be open to how biblical
escatology is being fulfilled presently. Regards.

Warning to the unwary - read this before posting
Dave is an evangelical fundamentalist, based in the US. He will not
listen to reasoned argument and will continue to post the same
invalid materials no matter how many times their falsehood is
pointed out.

His typical posting consists of material copied from creationist
websites - mainly pseudo science and frequently quotations from
credible scientists (2) that have been edited to indicate the
opposite of what the author intended.

If you are fired up with anger and feel compelled to respond (Dave
frequently makes a series of increasing unsupportable allegations
designed to provoke), the regulars here can't stop you, but please
understand that you will simply initiate an endless stream of posts
attempting to preach to anyone who is gullible enough to listen.

Notes:
1 If you wish to understand the truth about evolution and the
science of our origins, and the erroneous nature of Dave's
arguments, then this is a good starting point:
http://www.talkorigins.org/
2. A recent example asserts Francis Crick (who discovered DNA)
making statements about the sheer improbability of the natural
origins of life. The quotes actually come from Fred Hoyle, an
astronomer, but Dave's source is a creationist site that has
(accidentally or deliberately) mixed up the references. Dave can't
bring himself to even acknowledge the error, let alone apologise for it.

Oy David Brown you trolling fuckwit; I've got that halfwit JW retard plonked
so that I don't have to read its drivel. I don't appreciate it when
brainless uneducated morons repost it so that I can see it. Kindly do not
repeat this mistake. Thank you.
